The beginning stages of flight training preparation can feel like a firehose of information, so we compiled answers to some FAQs to help you get started! If you still have question, contact us and one of our instructors will assist you. Happy flying!
You must be at least 17 years of age. Before you can solo, you must possess at least a third-class medical. We recommend getting your medical before beginning training. You must also be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language. Non-U.S. citizens should expect extra steps before training.
We will need all of the following documents brought to us in person for verification:

Copy of Pilot Certificate (if already a certified pilot)

Copy of Medical (must present before Solo Flight)

While each student is different, we can take students from zero to CFI in under nine months. We don’t hold our students to strict timelines. The speed at which you progress is based upon the time you can commit and your ability to learn. To complete the program in under nine months, you should fly at least five times a week and study outside.

Yes, all rental rates are (Wet). This price includes fuel.
Each flight is charged a small deductible (included in the rental cost) to contribute to the insurance coverage for the aircraft. This allows each student/renter to be insured while flying our aircraft.
Once we verify your information, we will give you access to Airport Sync (flight scheduling software). You can schedule your instructor and flights from there.
The minimum number of hours to obtain your private pilot license is 40 hours. Most students complete their training around 55 hours. Each student is different, and we tailor our program to meet each student's needs. Students take 4-6 months to complete their Private pilot certificate. Timelines are flexible though and some complete their training in less than 2 months.
We estimate that you will spend $10,000-15,000 to complete your private pilot training.
